My name is Meagan Swanson, and I am a personal trainer, a bodybuilder, a wife, and a mommy of two boys.
I began online coaching in 2015 with the goal of helping people from all around the nation start their journey to a healthier life, mentally and physically. In June of 2017, I decided to take my coaching one step further and began taking in-person clients as a personal trainer at Anytime Fitness.
I’ve been a year-round athlete since age 5 (growing up with three athletic brothers, I didn’t have much of a choice). But even through the years of sports and various conversations with coaches about the importance of diet and weightlifting, I couldn’t seem to get a grip on how to become the best/healthiest version of myself. I was terrified of lifting weights, I ate next to nothing, and I drank more alcohol than I’d like to admit – and once my athletic career through high school and college ended, that reality hit me like a brick.
At age 21, I found myself at one of my heaviest weights with zero energy and zero confidence. I was an athlete turned partier going nowhere fast, and I needed a change – that change was the gym. With some convincing/educating from my husband, I joined a gym, found a weightlifting program to follow, and I haven’t looked back since.
Years later, lifting weights and eating healthier are part of my lifestyle. I’m in the best shape of my life, I have more energy than I’ve ever had, I’m happier, more confident, more driven, the list goes on.
I’ve finally found a way to help people become the best versions of themselves, and I know it works because I’ve been through it.
With the added experience of physically witnessing actions and reactions to certain suggestions, exercises, goals, etc., I’m confident in my ability to help others start their journey and successfully reach their goals in a completely personalized way.
